1. Scope of Supply
These terms and conditions apply to all quotations, orders and supplies of goods provided by Furniture Box to customers purchasing in a wholesale, trade, commercial or project supply capacity. Furniture Box supplies office furniture and steel office furniture to office furniture retailers, online sellers, fit-out companies, commercial buyers and approved wholesale accounts. These terms do not apply to retail consumer sales.
2. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations issued by Furniture Box are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation, unless otherwise stated in writing. Quoted prices are indicative and subject to final confirmation at the time of order.
All prices are excluding GST unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
Furniture Box reserves the right to amend pricing prior to order confirmation in the event of changes to supplier costs, exchange rates or other relevant factors.
3. Account Approval and Payment Terms
Approved account customers are entitled to 30-day trading terms, subject to Furniture Box’s account approval process and ongoing credit assessment.
Customers without an approved trading account must prepay in full before supply or dispatch of goods.
Furniture Box reserves the right to suspend or withdraw account terms at its discretion and without prior notice.
4. Stock Availability
All orders are subject to stock availability at the time of dispatch. Furniture Box will endeavour to confirm stock status within a reasonable timeframe, but stock availability remains subject to change and must be confirmed prior to dispatch.
Back-ordered items may be available on a lead-time basis. Lead times will be communicated upon request.
5. Delivery and Pickup
Delivery to customer stores or commercial premises is available where practical and subject to arrangement with Furniture Box. Delivery is not automatic and is offered on a case-by-case basis depending on order size, workload, delivery route and site access.
Small orders may require customer pickup from Furniture Box or may be dispatched together with other orders going in the same direction.
Customers must ensure that an authorised person is available to receive goods at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window. Additional fees may apply for missed deliveries or re-delivery requests.
6. Bulk, Project and Custom Orders
Bulk orders, project supply and custom-specified orders are subject to separate quotation and confirmation. Terms applicable to these orders may differ from standard terms and will be confirmed in writing at the time of order.
7. Product Information
Product images, colours, finishes, dimensions and specifications displayed on the Furniture Box website or in catalogues are indicative only. Minor variations may occur between images and actual products due to photography, screen settings and manufacturing tolerances. Customers should request physical samples or confirm specifications prior to order if exact matching is critical.
8. Risk and Title
Risk in goods passes to the buyer upon delivery or collection. Title to goods remains with Furniture Box until full payment has been received.
9. Warranty
Warranty terms for Furniture Box products are set out in our Warranty policy. Please refer to the Warranty section of this website for full details. Warranty is in addition to any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
10. Returns
Returns are subject to our Returns and Refunds policy. Please refer to the Returns section of this website for full details. Goods may only be returned in accordance with that policy and with prior written approval from Furniture Box.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Furniture Box will not be liable for:
- Any indirect, consequential or incidental loss or damage
- Loss of profits, business, revenue or goodwill
- Any loss or damage arising from delays in delivery or dispatch
- Any discrepancies in product images or descriptions that are minor in nature
Furniture Box’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and assessed case by case. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Privacy
Furniture Box collects and uses customer information in accordance with its privacy obligations. Information is used for order processing, account management and communication purposes. Furniture Box does not sell customer information to third parties.
13. Applicable Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
